Our Chosen Charity of the Year

Homeless Street Angels are a Leeds-based charity who work to get the homeless off the street and into a stable environment. They are currently working with Leeds City Council and Housing Options to re-house people off the streets and are part of the Leeds Homeless Charter to help eradicate homelessness in Leeds. Once they have re-housed people, Homeless Street Angels continue to provide ongoing support by providing food parcels and any additional help they may require.

Homeless Street Angels offers a variety of services, including:

  • Providing food parcels consisting of purchased and donated food items.
  • Assisting with housing and shelter.
  • Outreach programmes, delivering hot meals around Leeds City Centre on Thursdays.
  • Fundraising Events.
  • Clothing donation and purchase assistance.
  • Furniture donation and purchase assistance.

See the Homeless Street Angels ‘about us’ page for further information.

With SEP2’s HQ also located in Leeds, our Charity Committee is especially excited to contribute to Homeless Street Angels’ mission in their local community.

Kieron

Central Response Team Manager

Kieron has been with SEP2 since 2019 and works in our support team.

For Kieron, there is no typical day at SEP2, for one day he can be working through open tickets, another day you could be working on a priority case for the duration of the day, and another day you could be working on an ongoing project, but what Kieron enjoys is that the mix of challenges keeps the role fresh and interesting.

Kieron likes that within the support team everybody works well together, and shares knowledge between every level and are constantly being encouraged to learn.

In his spare time, Kieron’s current favourite hobby is working on his allotment, which gives him a nice change of scenery and a break from technology.
